About the Campaign
He is a sweet Maltese boy of 13 years. He recently had a big misadventure that turned out for the good, in a way.
You see Buddy’s mom has had some financial problems recently and had to move in with family, but they are not big fans of dogs, so mom hired a pet sitter from Rover for Buddy for a week. Well, on a Tuesday Buddy ran away from the pet-sitter, but the sitter did not tell anyone. Buddy was picked up by animal control that same day, and spent two days in the shelter before his mom found out when the shelter called! (Buddy was chipped, CHIP YOUR PETS!)
So now Buddy’s mom had to spend almost $100.00 to get him out of the shelter, and she is currently only receiving unemployment insurance as income.
But the good news:
The shelter vet examined Buddy and found two small tumors on his belly. His mom got him to the vet, for an exam and the vet recommends $45o.00 in tests of the tumors and removal. In the last weeks his tumor has gotten a lot larger, and we think this may be fairly urgent.
It won’t take a lot of money to get Buddy taken care of, and his family is having money troubles right now, so let’s help Buddy out! All donations paid here are held by us, and only paid to the veterinarian when surgery is performed. If the procedure does not happen for any reason, your donation will be refunded. Please donate in confidence today!
