About the Campaign

She’s a year-old. She broke her leg. Her owners bring her to the emergency vet. Paid for the initial exam and x-rays. And they abandon her “Just put her to sleep”.

Fortunately the doctor at the emergency clinic refused. He stated, there is no good reason to put this dog to sleep!

The clinic knows us, and knows that we may be able to help. So a big thanks to Animal Emergency Clinic in Grand Terrace for refusing to kill this dog, and reaching out to us for help!

It turns out her break is pretty bad, you can see in the x-ray below (click to enlarge the x-ray):

But it is totally fixable, and she can be just as good as before, with some surgery by a specialist and a bit of good recovery. That’s where Rock&Rescue came in! They took Layahh (that’s her name) in and transported her to Alta Loma Animal Hospital where there is a very good orthopedist who will fix her leg.

The rescue will put her with a good foster home while she recovers, and then find her a great forever home what will never abandon her at the vet! We all need to come together to help them and Layahh with the cost of surgery.
