About the Campaign

Unique chance to

save his life!

AMAZING UPDATE!: Kratos’s tumor keeps getting smaller!! First there was concern even surgery wouldn’t be possible. Then it got smaller, and the doctor said with an expensive and difficult procedure Kratos may be ok, though he would have difficulties from the surgery. That was our original fundraiser for about $7000. NOW?: Doctor now says the more expensive procedure isn’t necessary, the tumor is even smaller and still shrinking! Kratos needs a much simpler and less expensive surgery that should also have no lasting negative effects!! We have reduced the fundraiser from $7000 to $2500.

Kratos has a tumor in his butt, and it was too large to remove. His owner Kaitlin decided on radiation therapy for the tumor, which the doctor’s said would give him more time, about nine months or so. But still, that was all that was expected.

Instead the tumor shrank remarkably, way more than the doctor’s thought possible and now they say they can remove it with surgery! That could mean completely eliminating the cancer!

It is a type of miracle for Kratos, but it also creates some urgency. The tumor will grow again, it is cancer. The doctors need to do surgery now, while it is so small. Tumor picture below, it is shrinking daily right now, so now is the time for surgery!

Kratos is only 19 months old, and could be free of cancer instead now! Kaitlin spent all her money (and credit) on the radiation and other treatments up to now, almost $10,000 and doesn’t have resources available. This is an urgent one, let’s not miss Kratos’s miracle! Estimate for the tumor surgery is below, click to enlarge:

I wish I could donate more, but I’m sending the little bit that I can, because I know it takes a village. My dog is the light of my life. The apple of my eye. One of the only things that brings me pure joy. And if she was going through a medical emergency, we’d need our village to rally around us, too. <3

I so admire Kratos’ owner for spending what she did for this beautiful fur baby. I would have done the same.
