Nasty Tumor!

Kimmie needs this removed. How did it get so bad? Kimmie’s owner is now 90 years-old and has been having some health issues. She just wasn’t aware of the issue. Now her daughter, Marian, is involved, and getting Kimmie treatment.

Mom got Kimmie as a puppy over 9 years ago, a friend’s dog had a litter of puppies and they needed homes. She had been keeping good care of her, but recently has not been able to and the family is dealing with this.

Marian got Kimmie to the doctor. Kimmie got thorough blood tests, and x-rays. She is healthy for surgery, and so far the tumor looks isolated, meaning nothing has spread. She just needs it removed, and soon! The surgery is looking to be about $3000.00, and while mom has no available funds, Marian has already spent about $1000 and has a bit more available. Further, we are working on a small grant from a cancer foundation!

Right now it looks like Kimmie will need about $1500 to get her surgery. This might change a little, but it will be right around that. All donations here, as always, are held by us at Free Animal Doctor and ONLY paid the veterinarian when the surgery is performed. No surgery, and we refund the donations.
