Little girl has a bad eye

Kermit was rescued from the Downey, California animal shelter, which is notoriously over-crowded with cats. She came in with a bad eye, either a birth defect or damaged by some sort of trauma. The shelter mislabeled her as a boy, and thats how she got the name Kermit, but it is a cute name and it stuck.

Kermit is halfway saved, she got out of the shelter where she would have been put to sleep… but she cannot get adopted in her current condition. The eye is painful, but more importantly, it is prone to infection. The eye has to be surgically removed. Once that is done (and she is spayed), then Kermit will be adoptable, and she has a great story, a funny name and is really cute, so adoption shouldn’t be a problem!

Let’s get Kermit healthy, so she can find a home. All donations are specifically for Kermit to get her eye surgery, thank you!
