About the Campaign

KeCat is an 8-year-old male tabby who is having trouble swallowing and is not drinking water normally. He also has bad breath and swelling in his face, which may point to a painful dental problem or something stuck or injured in his mouth.

Christine took KeCat to a vet a few months ago, and they told her he needed dental care. Now she is trying to get him the follow-up he needs: an exam, X-rays, and dental treatment to find out what is causing the swelling, bad breath, and swallowing trouble.

KeCat came into Christine’s life through her daughter. He had been a stray around her daughter’s workplace, and her daughter cared for him for about a year. When she had to move and could no longer keep him, Christine took him in, and he has been with her ever since.

Christine does not have a long dramatic story to tell. She just has a cat who needs help. KeCat is uncomfortable, he is not drinking the way he should, and his mouth needs to be checked and treated before the problem gets worse.

The cost is the barrier. Christine moved here three years ago to help her parents and is currently unemployed. She applied for CareCredit but was declined, so even this relatively modest veterinary bill is out of reach right now.

Donations will help cover KeCat’s exam, X-rays, dental care, medications, and follow-up so he can swallow comfortably, drink normally, and get relief from whatever is causing his mouth pain. All donations are paid only to the veterinarian.

KeCat looks so much like my Simba. He passed away last September after 14 years with us. Praying for your fur baby.
