About the Campaign

His few remaining teeth have to go

Junior has been Elizabeth’s dog for over 11 years. She found him stray, roaming the street in her neighborhood and they guessed at the time he was about two years old.

He’s had a few health problems over the years, and chronically bad teeth. He has IVDD, degenerative discs in his back, and takes medication for that. And last year his teeth were bad and we did a successful fundraiser for him then (link). Elizabeth cares for his teeth, and he had a professional cleaning, but still, now a year later they are infected again.

The doctor says this time they will remove them all. Not as dramatic as it sounds, he only has eight left anyway! But he is in pain, and the infection can lead to other serious issues. The surgery is a bit pricey because he is older with health issues, so he has to have a full blood panel and some precautionary measures taken, but he should be ok and the doctor assures Elizabeth it is necessary.

Elizabeth has a small income, and Junior has monthly medicine that costs over $200, so she just cannot cover the surgery. All donations are for Junior, and paid to the vet directly. The estimate is below, please click it to enlarge for details:

In memory of Fancy, my forever girl, who was a patient of Dr Bart for many years. I know your precious little man is in the best of hands. I’m sending love and hugs, along with prayers for Junior’s speedy recovery. He sure is adorable!
