This is Junior

Junior is a 9 year old Dalmatian mix who’s loving, smart, and too cute! About a month ago, Junior started walking kind of funny. He’d step on his knuckles and one day his legs just collapsed from underneath him. Bill, his owner, rushed to Loan Mountain Animal Hospital in Las Vegas.

The vet determined that Junior has 2 discs mineralizing in his neck and this was causing him to be off balance and walk funny. Bill was told that surgery was the only solution to the problem. They referred him to Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center. There they will perform the surgery.

So far, Junior has had 2 acupuncture treatments done and this has helped stop his falling. He’s currently on various medications: gabapentin, prednisone, and used to be on tramadol.

“I would die for Junior in order to protect him” Bill says “I love him”.

About 9 years ago Bill and his wife found Junior and his sister Tasha. Junior became a great companion for Bill and Tasha for his wife. All four them were able to live a happy life together. Unfortunately, back in 2015 Junior and Tasha split up but the bonds still remain.

In an unfortunate turn of events, Bill is being forced out of his home. He received a letter stating the building he was living in was being bought and that he must vacate. Junior’s health and home are at stake. While Bill works on the home we will do our best to work on the health.
