About the Campaign
June is for lovers
June is a six year old pit mix full of love. She loves her human and fur brothers and sisters. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her as well.
June was rescued by her fur parent Crystal, three years ago. June was beaten from her previous owners leaving June to be skittish. Finally, June started to open up to the family and now is attached to Crystal and her family like velcro.
June has been therapeutic for the whole family. She helped Crystal through her divorce and helps two of Crystal’s kids that have ADD and ADHD. June has brought joy and love to each one of the family members.
At the end of January June got a new dog neighbor. Of course, the new dog was barking and causing a scene so June wanted to see. The repetitiveness of the jumping to look over the fence caused her to tear both of her ACL’s. June is on pain medication at the moment. The children are sitting with June to keep her company and trying to ease her pain.
June is the best thing that has happened to this family and they will do anything to fix June! Crystal is a single parent of 6 kids and can only work part time. The surgery to correct one leg is $2,625 and June needs both of them. Crystal and her wonderful kids are asking for help to raise money for the first surgery.
