Eye Problem!
Something is wrong with Julian’s eye. Is it a tumor? And infection? Unfortunately it is not clear.
Julian went to the vet four times total, starting about two months ago. First the vet thought it was related to a dental problem, because Julian has chronically bad teeth. Julian had his teeth cleaned and went on a course of antibiotics.
But the swelling on the eye got worse. Another visit resulted in teeth being removed, and there was an abscess that was drained, and more antibiotics. But the swelling got worse. Eventually Thomas (Julian’s owner) took him to another vet, but not before Thomas had spent over $1500.
Earlier this year, before the tumor:
This vet says, and we agree, that it is a tumor of some kind, not an infection or an abscess. They need to do a full blood test of Julian, take x-rays and do an aspiration, a way to test the tissue. From there treatment can be determined.
Thomas got Julian eight years ago, when Julian was a “community cat”, and outdoor cat in the neighborhood. Julian was getting beat up by the other cats, and after one rough encounter Thomas took him in. In eight years Julian has never been back outside, safe as an indoor kitty now! But Thomas is on a fixed income, disabled on Social Security, and having spent $1500 already he just does not have the funds for this treatment Julian needs.
All donations are for Julian, and 100% of your donation is paid directly to the vet. Let’s help this sweet kitty get his eye fixed with a donation today 🙂

I made a very small donation because I’m on a fixed income, but you seem to be doing God’s work for these darlings.
