Attacked by a Bulldog!

Imagine, out walking, normal day, everything is fine… and then out of nowhere a bulldog comes around the corner and grabs your dog by the throat! That is what happened to Calvin and his dog Jasmine.

The Bulldog was on a leash, but no person was around. It obviously got loose somehow. It went straight for Jasmine’s throat and Calvin had to pry the attacking dog off of her by hand! He got them separated but the Bulldog twisted around and chomped on Jasmine’s head, wounding her eye terribly.

They got away and Jasmine went to the emergency vet and got somewhat fixed up. Calvin had a shattered hip and walks with a cane, he is disabled and receives disability from the government. Fortunately he was not seriously injured in the attack, but Jasmine was, especially her eye.

After the ER visit, where Calvin spent what money he had and maxed out credit, Jasmine needs to see her vet for an follow up on the eye to see what, if anything can be done, continuing antibiotics and medications, totaling $250. We are looking into helping Calvin locate the owner of the Bulldog, but so far it has been difficult. All donations here are for Jasmine, paid directly to the specialist.
