About the Campaign

Hussle is in need of assistance after a tragic accident on December 29th left him with a broken pelvis. The four-year-old pup, who was taken in by his owner Shanequa after his friends’ father gave him away, was healthy and well-behaved prior to the incident.

According to Shanequa, Hussle managed to escape from the house and was hit by a car. Despite the severity of his injury, the leg bone is still attached to the pelvis, but the pelvis itself is broken. The cost of surgery and rehabilitation for Hussle is estimated at $4800.

Shanequa, who works as an outbound clerk and lives paycheck to paycheck, has already spent $160 on Hussle’s medical care. She is now appealing to the community for help in raising the remaining funds for Hussle’s surgery and recovery.

Hussle has been a loving and loyal companion to Shanequa, and she is determined to do everything in her power to ensure that he makes a full recovery. All donations are specifically for Hussle and ONLY paid to his veterinarian. Donate in confidence, your donation goes to Hussle!

Update: Kacey Montoya of KTLA 5 in Los Angeles is helping Shanequa and arranged for her to get a second price at a lower cost vet. We have updated the fundraiser with this estimate (below). Kacey will also be contributing $500 to the vet for Hussle. So the goal for the fundraiser is now substantially lower at $1836!!
