About the Campaign

Oh poor Holly!

Found in January wrapped in a towel on the side of a street in Bakersfield, California. No injuries visible, but cannot stand well or walk. Clearly is partially paralyzed. Please watch the video for all the details 🙂

UPDATE

Holly is now staying with our foster Janett. She went to the neurologist on March 8th and was diagnosed with Vestibular Disease. However, though we know the disease, we do not now the cause. The only way to determine that conclusively is with an MRI. It may be a brain tumor, an infection, or some other cause.

We are treating her with two medications, can she is responding well. But an MRI is really necessary. It is nearly $4000.00 here in the US, but we can do it in Mexico for about $1300.00 and then have the results analyzed by her neurologist here.

One of the reasons we want an MRI is that she also has mammary tumors and some other more minor issues, and before we proceed with surgery and treatment for those, we would like to know if she has a brain tumor or other terminal condition. Below is a video after about 3 days of medication, she is able to walk for the first time!
