Henry

About the Campaign

Injured in a dog fight,

damaged eye, torn gums,

and possible broken jaw!

He is owned by Joan, and elderly lady of 80 years who adopted him from a shelter over 10 years ago. Joan has congestive heart failure and Henry is her beloved companion. She lives with her daughter Tonya who works in dog rescue, and has a larger boxer-mix that she took in when this dog was going to be put to sleep.

The boxer and Henry got along fine, and have lived together for nearly a month with no problems, however, today July 13th, the boxer attacked Henry suddenly and with no warning.

Henry before injury:

Henry has substantial wounds on his face. The worst is that his gum-line is damaged, with some teeth lost, and he may have a broken jaw. Tonya took him to the vet and they said he needs urgent surgery that costs about $2000 she does not have. She did pay $322 today to get him examined, stable and on medications including pain relief.

Henry needs surgery urgently, he is doped up on meds now, but that cannot continue, and he is not eating or even drinking. He also needs x-rays of his skull, as there is swelling. This little guy needs help!
