Urgent Ear Treatment
Active Hennessy’s life is on pause—her ear infection needs immediate attention!
Hennessy, a beautiful five-year-old blue nose Pitbull, has always been a fighter, but now she needs a community to help her through one of her toughest battles yet. Hennessy has struggled with skin and ear issues throughout her life, but this recent ear infection is more severe than ever. The pain is constant, and she’s been scratching her ears until they bleed. Her owner, who is in the process of moving, made the difficult decision to board Hennessy at the vet, where she has been for over 20 days, but the costs are mounting, and she needs urgent treatment.
Hennessy was taken to the vet once her owner noticed the irritation, and the vet confirmed that her ear required medication and immediate care. In addition, Hennessy needs to be spayed to avoid further complications, as she had puppies before and was issued a citation for not being spayed. The vet agreed to help with the ear treatment if Hennessy was boarded, giving her owner the time and space to focus on moving. However, the boarding fee is $38 per day, and with 20 days already accumulated, the bill has grown too large for her owner to manage.
Her owner has already spent $700 on Hennessy’s care, and with three kids to take care of, a recent job loss due to health issues, and relying on food stamps, she is overwhelmed. Her own health is in jeopardy—facing knee issues, blood clots in her lungs, and being on blood thinners, she’s searching for less physically demanding work to support her family.
With your help, we can get Hennessy the medical care she desperately needs, including her ear infection treatment and spaying, while relieving the burden of her boarding fees. Hennessy’s owner has always done everything she can to take care of her, but now they both need a community of animal lovers to step in.
