About the Campaign

Kids are always right

One day Linda was babysitting and the child advised her to get a puppy. Shortly after this, Linda was reading the newspaper and found an article for free puppies that had to find a home. She went over to the home and found an eight week old Hank. They have been together ever since.

How it happened

Hank had an accident and slipped on the ice last winter and tore his ligament in his leg. The vet said he could heal on its own. He would just have to take things slow. Well in the summer Hank was out roaming in his yard, his mom Linda called him back in and he turned the wrong way and there went the right leg. Now he isn’t able to heal on his own.

TPLO Surgery

Hank isn’t able to do much because of the pain. He lays under the bed most of the day. He doesn’t play and only gets up to use the bathroom and eat. He is currently on pain medication and anti-inflammation. He needs Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy surgery to fix his back legs. Hank and his family are asking for help so Hank can live out the rest of his dog life without pain.

Look at his face. You can see the pain!

Hank is my dog and I love him very much. I am donating to the cause because I can’t bare the fact that Hank is in a lot of pain. The more donations the faster he will get his quality of life back and be pain free.

I will see how much I have left out of my S S I check and try to send you a little. I am disabled and cannot walk so I sympathize with Hank. I had a Black Lab like him and they are the most sweetest and loveable dogs around. Please keep me up to date about HANK.
Good luck and my prayers are with you.

Thank you so much Penny for caring about Hank. We still have a long way to go towards our goal for his operations. I am going to continue pushing this forward to reach our goal. Hank is doing okay so far, but with the cold weather coming he is in a lot more pain and I am afraid he will slip on the ice and snow and hurt himself even more. He is a sweet boy. Hank and I are asking you if you could share his fundraiser post on social media so there will be more people seeing it for us? If you could do that for Hank we would appreciate it very much. I will let you know how Hank is doing. Once his surgery is done I will post an after surgery post to let everyone know how much they have helped Hank get his quality of life back. Thanks again Penny.
