About the Campaign

Gus the Family Dog!

Gus is a happy, and active Corgi. He has a perineal hernia, which is basically a hernia inside the butt. You can read more about it HERE.

It actually got quite bad a bit over a month ago, swelling and blocking him internally. The doctor was able to temporarily correct the issue with Gus under sedation, but he needs surgery to repair the hernia, or it will happen again and get worse.

Gus is a good family boy who watches over the children, and the family cannot stand that he has this painful issue that could threaten his life.

They have raised about $1600 elsewhere (see HERE), and have already spent over $1000 on his care, but they need help to close the gap and get him surgery.

The good news is that about half the cost is already covered, but it is an expensive procedure. All donations to Gus are held here and then paid ONLY to his veterinarian when the surgery is performed. If the surgery does not happen, donations are refunded. Your donation goes to Gus! Let’s help this good boy get a lot better!!

In memory of our Corgi named Foxy, we wanted to donate. Wish it could be more but I did share it on my fb page in hopes and prayers that others will see it and help donate.

I donate again because Gus is surely worthy of help. He is so very handsome and loves his family.

Ever since the Corgi community helped my precious Magic Man get needed neurosurgery care in 2012, I have done what I can to pay it forward as often as possible.
Handsome and cherished Gus, sending love and Corgi kisses for your surgery and recovery. ❤️‍🩹 ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
