About the Campaign
Painful to even eat
Griffin, a sweet black cat, is in constant pain. He urgently needs multiple teeth extractions. Right now, every attempt to eat makes him scream in pain, and he’s been drooling excessively as his mouth deteriorates.
The vet suspects stomatitis and has recommended a dental cleaning and extractions as soon as possible. Without this surgery, Griffin cannot eat properly and will continue to suffer.
Chandler, Griffin’s devoted owner, has already done everything he can to cover the cost. Between a county voucher and a grant from another organization, $500 has been secured toward the procedure. The total cost is $800, leaving a $300 gap that Chandler simply cannot cover on his limited budget.
He is a veteran now attending the Musicians Institute for songwriting, while his partner Haleh, an artist, is currently unemployed. Their entire income comes from veterans benefits and student aid, and there’s no way they can pay this bill alone.
Chandler adopted Griffin in North Hollywood after realizing how much he loved cats thanks to friends and Haleh’s pets. Griffin chose Chandler, and the two have been inseparable since. Now, Chandler just wants to give Griffin the chance to eat and live without pain again.
Griffin’s condition is very treatable—once his teeth are removed, his prognosis is excellent. Your donation will help cover the remaining $300 so he can get the dental surgery he urgently needs. All funds go directly to the veterinarian, never the owner.
