About the Campaign
Meet Gracie Sue
Gracie Sue is an eleven year old female Calico. She has been with his owner, Barbara, since she was 3 weeks old. A neighbor brought the kitten to Barbara in a shoebox. Barbara was told the kitten needed a safe home. The home that had Gracie had a violent family member and was talking about kicking the kitten. Barbara spent the first few months of Gracie’s life being her mom, waking up every 3-4 hours to feed and use the potty. Gracie would even go on work trips with Barbara.
Look at their love!
Barbara takes care of multiple cats out in the country where she lives but Gracie Sue is the only indoor cat.
Barbara finds a lump
Earlier this year Barbara noticed a lump on Gracie’s back leg. Back in April, the vet aspirated the lump and looked under a microscope and didn’t see anything abnormal. At this time the vet said it would have been a reaction to the vaccine injection.
Since then the lump has grown from the size of the grape to a golfball. The next step is to remove the lump and send it off for testing.
Gracie Sue is Barbara’s whole world. Barbara is very concerned about the area and wants it taken off as soon as possible.
