About the Campaign
Ol’ Man George
Property manager didn’t want this old street cat wandering around the building, so in a small town with no animal control what do they do?
In George’s case they got him to Faith’s Fury Friends, who rescue cats in Sweet Home, Oregon. Somehow Ol’ George has lived a long time out on the street, he has to be over 10 years old. But in that time he’s had no veterinary care.
George needed lots of basic care at what was probably the first vet visit he’s ever had, but he needs more. Poor kitty has broken teeth, missing teeth and a gum infection.
He is in a foster home now, and is actually quite a friendly and domestic guy! But he cannot be adopted to anyone until he is healthy. We know this rescue well, and they are working really hard to help animals in their town. They’ve already spent quite a bit on George, and have some more funds available, but cannot afford all of the cost to get him the full dental surgery he needs.
Donations are paid directly to the vet, just for George! His estimate is below, click to enlarge (note they named him Earl at first, but have changed that to George now):
