Happy, active Gabe

has a bad, big tumor!

The tumor was just found in July, one on his belly and one on his neck. Gabe is otherwise healthy, and gets regular yearly check ups, and he loves running and playing and is a very active boy (check out the video above!).

Jared, his owner, says: “he loves people and kids, he gets along with other animals, he’s saved three lives, stopped a house from burning down, he’s afraid of pink float tubes for small children, he loves everything about life, and he is my little brother.”

Gabe is just a great dog, that Jared inherited from his father when his father passed about seven years ago. The neck tumor is hopefully nothing, but the doctor wants to do a biopsy, just to be sure… the tumor on his belly needs to come off though! It is hard, which is not a good sign, but has been caught early, so getting it off right away could be life saving for Gabe.

Jared just gets by with financial aide in his last year of college, and had an unexpected expense with Gabe just last year, when Gabe was injured and had to go to the emergency vet. He does not have the money to pay for Gabe’s surgery. He started a GoFundMe (link is HERE) which has raised a little money, but Gabe is going to need donations from more people to get healed up.

So we have started this fundraiser, where all donations are held by Free Animal Doctor, and only paid to the veterinarian when Gabe is treated! We have verified the case, and checked out everything.
