About the Campaign

Happy, active Gabe

has a bad, big tumor!

The tumor was just found in July, one on his belly and one on his neck. Gabe is otherwise healthy, and gets regular yearly check ups, and he loves running and playing and is a very active boy (check out the video above!).

Jared, his owner, says: “he loves people and kids, he gets along with other animals, he’s saved three lives, stopped a house from burning down, he’s afraid of pink float tubes for small children, he loves everything about life, and he is my little brother.”

Gabe is just a great dog, that Jared inherited from his father when his father passed about seven years ago. The neck tumor is hopefully nothing, but the doctor wants to do a biopsy, just to be sure… the tumor on his belly needs to come off though! It is hard, which is not a good sign, but has been caught early, so getting it off right away could be life saving for Gabe.

Jared just gets by with financial aide in his last year of college, and had an unexpected expense with Gabe just last year, when Gabe was injured and had to go to the emergency vet. He does not have the money to pay for Gabe’s surgery. He started a GoFundMe (link is HERE) which has raised a little money, but Gabe is going to need donations from more people to get healed up.

Patriotic Gabe!

So we have started this fundraiser, where all donations are held by Free Animal Doctor, and only paid to the veterinarian when Gabe is treated! We have verified the case, and checked out everything. You might not know Jared, but if you would like to help this wonderful dog Gabe, you can make a donation that goes right to him, 100%, here!!

Thank you, Gabe

Too many family members abandon their parent’s pet upon death of the parent. Thank you, Jared, for adopting Gabe snd loving him and getting regular vet care for him.

Agreed! My dad loved Gabe with so his heart, and it was just the three of us together for his last six months of life. He asked me to take care of him, and I’m not letting my dad down!

It breaks my heart to know Gabe has and is undergoing such hardships. All animals deserve the medical care they require and all animals deserve a human like Jared in their lives.

I’m giving because I read so many times when the owner passes, the family doesn’t want the dog, and you did, and I bless you for that.

A promise made to my dad is a promise kept to me. Gabe carried me through losing my dad. Now, it’s his turn to be carried.

Gabe will be fine with all your love. My Bella all 4 pounds of her was just diagnosed with Congestive heart failure. I love her more than anything. We’re just lucky we have these beautiful, loving fur kids in our lives! ❤️
