Cut or bitten off penis!

Will not stop bleeding…

…not able to pee properly.

Farrell was being given away online, injured. Animal rescuer John Randle and Brave Bully Rescue worked to get Farrell from his “owner” and to a vet as soon as possible. It took all night, but they managed it. As you can see in the video, poor Farrell is bleeding badly.

What happened

It is not entirely clear, he may have bitten his penis himself, though that would be strange behavior. But the bottom line is he is severely injured and needs surgery. Farrell is just 7 months old, and his behavior seems great… he should have a long and happy life!

The surgery

His penis is so injured that it wall have to be partially removed and his urethra re-routed. The vet believes it should be a successful surgery, and not that complicated, though recovery will take time. He is going to be neutered as well, so though he will not be able to reproduce, he will be able to hold his pee, and pee normally. He can be a healthy house dog!!

The rescuers

John and his wife Janett have put Farrell in their name at the vet. They did this to get him surgery immediately, but they do not have the money to pay. In fact, they owe money to the vet themselves! The rescue is providing a home after surgery and the adoption process, but they were not prepared for this expense either!

If the Randle’s had not taken this effort today to help Farrell, he would still be bleeding at his “owners” (or dead).
