About the Campaign
Broke both bones in his wrist!
Feather has already survived more than any cat should in just a year of life. Last summer, Sacha’s two kids found him abandoned in a plastic bag on the side of the road—after first witnessing a woman throwing rocks at him and kicking him. When they brought him home, he had a cut on his ear but finally found safety with their family.
Now, Feather is facing another battle. On February 14th, Sacha left the sliding door open for some fresh air and dozed off for the night. Sometime in the early morning hours, Feather slipped outside. When Sacha woke up and opened the door, he limped inside—his front leg badly injured. The vet determined both the ulna and radius in his left wrist are broken, and because of the way the bones have displaced, they won’t heal on their own. Feather needs surgery to stabilize the fracture, or he’ll never regain full use of his leg.
Sacha is a single mother raising two kids (10 and 11) while living on disability and survivors’ benefits after losing her husband to a heart attack three years ago. After rent and bills, there’s little left for unexpected expenses—especially major surgery for Feather.
Feather has been through so much already, but he finally has a home where he is loved and safe. Now, he needs help to heal. Your donation will go directly toward his surgery, ensuring he gets the care he needs to walk pain-free again. Estimate below, click to enlarge:

I love all animals, but cats don’t seem to be funded as well.
