About the Campaign
It was so small, and then
grew so much in 2 weeks:
Fancy is a 7.5 year-old chihuahua mix, rescued by Faith Easdale 6 years ago, Fancy’s owner (Lisa) originally fostered her, but ended up adopting her.
About a month ago Lisa noticed a little swelling on Fancy’s left lip. Lifting it up, there was a tiny bump. Lisa is on a fixed income, Social Security, and hoped it was just one of those things that would go away. But it didn’t. Within a couple of weeks it was substantially bigger!
So Lisa took Fancy to the vet, and the diagnosis is possible cancer. The doctor wants to remove the tumor ASAP, then we will do a biopsy to see what it is exactly. It is kind of urgent because recently it went from this little bump to what you see in the photo!
The vet estimate below is hand-written by the doctor. The $217 is what Lisa paid for the exam, about $1000 remains to get the surgery done. All donations are only for Fancy, and paid directly to the vet! (Click to enlarge):

I just met you and told you that I love your passion about dogs. To go from fostering to adopting means this puppy was supposed to be with you.
