Appeal for Fancy:

Help Fund Her Ongoing Cancer Treatments

Fancy, a brave 10-pound dog, is currently battling cancer and needs our support. Her owner, Lisa, first discovered Fancy’s cancer in October during a visit to their local veterinarian. After removing one tumor, more appeared just three weeks later, which also had to be removed. The vet then suggested chemotherapy, and Lisa took Fancy to a VCA Ontario oncologist to begin treatment in January.

Fancy’s Cancer Treatment Journey:

• First cancer diagnosis in October
• Two surgeries to remove multiple tumors
• Started chemotherapy in January
• Treatment paused due to tummy issues
• Cancer in her mouth, tumors appear to be shrinking

• Five more months of treatment needed
• Monthly medical expenses of $500
• Only $700 left for treatment, with a stalled GoFundMe campaign

As a small dog, Fancy requires specialized, more expensive medication. Lisa has been spending $500 a month on Fancy’s medical expenses, including medication and consultations. Despite having raised more than half of the required funds through a GoFundMe campaign, they’ve reached a standstill and still need financial assistance to cover the remaining five months of chemotherapy and possible additional surgeries. Lisa has also reached out to numerous foundations and gotten a number of small grants for Fancy, but is still short on the remaining amount needed. Let’s get Fancy fully treated with no breaks in the treatment plan!!
