About the Campaign

Two little strays,

staying at our vet!

Little Ellie and Mr. Sponge are both currently at our vet Rancho West, where they have boarding. But we would love to get them in a home, either a foster or adopted!

Ellie showed up at a family’s doorstep. When they first went to grab her, she ran off and disappeared. But the next day she was back! This time, with more care, they got her inside and contacted us. She is a super cutie as you can see, and just a puppy.

Ellie:

Sponge was running in the street, almost getting hit by cars. One of the assistants at the vet clinic saw him while driving home! Fortunately he was able to stop, and managed to catch Sponge. It was raining that day, and Sponge was soaked, so that is where he gets his name. Sponge is a very friendly Dachie, appears like a long hair or wire-hair type. He is maybe a year old?

Sponge:

Both were not microchipped nor spay/neutered. Strays require all their vaccines, and flea and worm treatment. These two have been healthy so far, but still, rescuing a little pup like this cost about $500 if everything is perfect, and sometimes little bit more.

The local animal shelters are full, and dogs that go in them often do not have a good chance of getting out. We are lucky to have a vet like Rancho West with boarding and exercise area where we can temporarily put these strays, but we can only do it with your support!! If you can support the rescue of stray dogs, please make a donation. Even $3.00 helps, and shows us that love and support. And of course, if you would like to foster or adopt, email us at info@freeanimaldoctor.org
