Dutchess Needs Surgery

to Relieve Her Pain

Help Dutchess get the critical ear surgery she needs! Dutchess, a sweet French Bulldog, urgently needs a Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA) to relieve her from severe pain and prevent further complications. Both of her ear canals are swollen shut, and the right ear has developed a tumor. After multiple vet consultations and treatments that have already cost Alyshia over $2,000, it has been determined that surgery is the only solution. The procedure will cost $5,376, an amount that Alyshia, a full-time clinician and single mom of two, cannot afford on her own.

Dutchess has always been a source of comfort and support for Alyshia, especially during difficult times. When Alyshia faced a life-changing brain surgery in 2022, which threatened her vision, Dutchess was there every step of the way. Registered as a service animal, Dutchess was even allowed to visit Alyshia in the hospital, providing much-needed companionship and love.

In the summer of 2023, Dutchess’s health took a turn when a bubble appeared on her ear, causing it to sag. Despite multiple visits to different vets and a procedure to try and prevent TECA, the problem persisted. The situation has now escalated, and Dutchess’s ears are no longer responding to medication or minor treatments.

Alyshia has done everything she can to care for Dutchess, but now they need your help. Your donation will go directly to the vet to cover the cost of Dutchess’s surgery.
