About the Campaign
Just a puppy, under a year-old
Seen being thrown to the ground
Broken leg (rear), possible broken pelvis
On Monday, March 2nd, a woman observed this dog being thrown to the ground and injured. She got the dog, and took her to the vet, where she surrendered the dog.
That vet, Animal Emergency Clinic in Grand Terrance, CA, reached out to Faith Easdale of Dream Fetcher’s Rescue. Without someone willing to take the dog, she would be sent to the Riverside County Animal Shelter, where she almost certainly would be put-to-sleep considering her injury.
Dream Fetchers takes her, names her “Donut”
On Tuesday, March 3rd, Dream Fetchers had the dog signed over to them and took her to Camino Pet Hospital. They have named her Donut.
Waiting room:
She will need orthopedic surgery (details to come, she is at the vet right now). Currently we are guess-estimating a total cost of about $5000.00.
All donations are specifically for Donut and will be paid to Camino Pet Hospital and Dream Fetchers ONLY. No donations are paid to any individual, only the health care provider and/or a 501c3 non-profit. Please donate in confidence!!
Initial vet comments:
You can see the notation about Donut being thrown, click to enlarge:
X-rays and Surgery Estimate
Please click to enlarge any of these images. You can see the full, and very bad, break. The bone is completely separated and will require specialist orthopedic surgery to save the leg:

I believe in Dream Fetchers and their missions. They take in the dogs that don’t have pledges and deserve extra support for their medical needs❤️

If you save any fur babies is a one less, lost or
abandoned to fend for themselves! It takes a lot of love and devotion to do the work that all rescues do!

Dream fetchers is an awesome organization. I have been able to save two dogs I’ve found at job sites because of them. Both dogs have found forever loving homes. I know they will do the same for Donut. Best wishes!
