Little Kitten Got Attacked!
His tail is so damaged it must be removed, and the shelter was going to put him to sleep.
Fortunately people found out about his case, got the rescue Fur and Feather involved, and he was saved!
Now named DJ Ravioli, because why not!?….. this little kitten is just 11 weeks old, and has had at least one really traumatic experience, in addition to somehow losing his mom. He is safe now, but needs surgery to remove his tail.
Below, his tail injury:
The rescue operates a sanctuary for cats, but is sure this little cutie can get adopted, once he is fixed up. His tail is damaged and not working. It was so bad there were actually maggots in his wounds, although that is all cleaned up now. He has a little cast and some medications, but the tail will get worse and painful and has to go.
Cats at the sanctuary:
Vets are on board with a very good, discounted price and the little guy will get neutered too. All fixed up he can find a home! So let’s help DJ Ravioli get on with a good life, all donations are just for him!

My first cat came home from a day out when she was 1.5 years old with a broken tail that had to be removed. Never stopped her! I’m sure DJ Ravioli will adjust just as well. ❤️🩹
