About the Campaign

This beautiful, 15month, Pit Bull mix was hit by a car! On Tuesday 4/24 Diamond suffered from a dislocated hip and some bleeding in her lungs. Her internal injures have healed but now Diamond needs hip surgery.

She is currently at Hesperia Animal Hospital receiving fluids and pain medication. Her family is distraught and wants to do everything they can to save her.

Diamond was given a home by Melanie and her family in October 2017. At that time, she was just a puppy wandering the streets. Melanie’s son found her and just couldn’t leave her defenseless, cold, and hungry. He took her home and Diamond was welcomed with open arms.

Since then, Diamond has been spayed, vetted, and very well taken care of. It’s an awful shock that she was hit by a car. Melanie works part time, her family already has 2 dogs, and she’s at a loss on how she’s going to pay for this surgery. She’s already payed for medication, and hospitalization and at this point she wants to give this sweet girl the best life she can have.
