Help Delilah’s Heart Heal

Delilah, a 7-year-old rescue dog, urgently needs medical tests for her heart murmur and possible asthma. Your support could change her life.

Delilah, a seven-year-old dog rescued by her owner Juanita, is facing a serious health condition that requires comprehensive medical testing. Having been a loyal companion through Juanita’s divorce and custody battles, Delilah needs our help now to overcome her latest health challenge: a heart murmur and possible asthma.

Delilah’s Health Concerns:

• Recently started sniffling, sneezing, and wheezing
• Displaying weakness, prompting a veterinary visit
• Diagnosed with a heart murmur
• Possible asthma or other respiratory issues

In late March, Juanita noticed Delilah’s health issues and took her to the veterinarian for a checkup. After an initial assessment, the veterinarian recommended a series of tests, including blood work, x-rays, and thyroid/kidney checks, to determine the best course of treatment for Delilah’s heart murmur.

The estimated cost for these tests is $700, posing a significant financial challenge for Juanita, a single mother struggling with an autoimmune disease. She is currently responsible for all the house bills and supporting her children. Juanita has managed to cover the initial veterinary visit and medication costs, but she cannot afford the total cost of the tests.
