About the Campaign
Help Cupcake walk again
Cupcake is a three year old, four pound Toy Yorkie. For the last few months her knees have been getting worse everyday. She is unable to walk and is confined to her crate or stroller. Cupcakes legs are so bad that it is hard for her to even use the restroom.
It is very common for small breeds to have medial luxating patella. Cupcake has a Grade 4 medial luxating patella meaning: her patella is out of the socket all the time and there isn’t anyway other than surgery to fix this issue.
Cupcake is part of her human family.
She isn’t just a dog… Cupcake goes with her human family every time they go out. If her parents go out to dinner or out of town, Cupcake is there with them. She means the world and her parents can’t see her suffer anymore. Cupcake came home with her parents at 8 weeks old from a lady who wasn’t taking good care of Cupcake and just wanted her gone.
Surgery is scheduled
Cupcakes mom couldn’t see her suffer anymore so she made an appointment for surgery Thursday, September 6th with an orthopedic surgeon. Her parents care so much about her recovery, her mom took two weeks off of work and her dad will take off the third week. They are very dedicated parents.
Let’s help this little girl get her pep back!
