Stray Dog has a
Mouth Infection
Coco is suffering from a serious mouth infection. Her teeth are rotting, and eating has become difficult and painful. She can only manage wet food, and even that is a struggle. She needs urgent dental care to treat the infection, remove the decayed teeth, and relieve her pain.
Just a few weeks ago, Coco wasn’t even part of Gabriela’s household. She wandered into the backyard of Gabriela’s small back house, looking thin and lost. Gabriela gave her food, and Coco kept coming back—so Gabriela made space in her heart and home. It was clear this senior Miniature Doberman had been left behind.
Gabriela and her husband are doing everything they can to care for Coco, but the cost of treatment is more than they can afford. Gabriela is currently unemployed, and her husband’s factory job barely covers their basic bills. Still, they can’t bear the thought of taking Coco to a shelter, knowing what happens to dogs her age in the system.
Coco finally found someone who cares. Now she needs help to stay with the family that saved her. Donations are paid directly to the vet, specifically for Coco, and the estimate is below (click to enlarge):
