The Doctor Found a Mast-Cell Tumor
If removed early enough, Chloe should be OK!
About a month ago her owner Leonard and his son noticed a bump on Chloe’s leg, then it went away, then it came back…… typical of these early mast-type tumors. Fortunately Leonard was concerned enough to take Chloe to the vet, where they did a full work up including a biopsy.
It was verified, mast-cell tumor
The cost to remove these tumors is higher because it must be done in a such a way as to insure that the cancer cells are all gone, and do not return or regrow.
Leonard and his family got Chloe at just 6-months old when a neighbor was going to take her to the animal shelter. She has been their dog for many years, and though they were worried about taking in a Pitt-Bull, they now LOVE the breed! She has been one of their best dogs they ever had!
Leonard has already paid for her work ups, diagnosis and biopsy, and can pay towards the tumor removal as well, but the family needs about $2000.00 more to get it done ASAP. If you can help Chloe get her tumor removed quickly before it spreads, please make a donation today!
All donations are only for Chloe, and are only paid to the vet upon surgery! WOOOOOF 🙂 It would really be Christmas in July for Chloe to get this removed now:
