About the Campaign
Still just a puppy
“Cherry Eye”
Chiquis is a poodly-mixed puppy girl, very sweet and fun. She has been healthy, but about two weeks ago her family noticed a little red bump on her eye.
That bump got bigger and bigger to what you see now:
Mom, Norma, took her to the vet and they quoted her about $600 for the surgery, a good price for this procedure.
Puppy nap!
Cherry eye is not deadly, but if not treated it can lead to infection, and even blindness. The tear ducts can be damaged, leading to dry eye, and scratching of the cornea. Also, Chiquis looks a bit worse than the average case, and it has been getting bigger. But the good news is the vet is on board at a good price.
All donations are paid only to the vet, not the owner and are specifically for Chiquis. Norma broke her foot at her warehouse job last month, and is out of work. Let’s help this puppy get her eye fixed up and have a normal, happy life!
