Chippy is sick

Shelly lives in a small town in North Carolina, and takes care of stray cats. Sometimes people even dump them at her place. That is probably what happened with Chippy, who showed up at her door in 2018. Chippy was timid at first, but one day he came in the house and there he stayed! A house cat for life now 🙂

Chippy has had some health issues, and Shelly has taken care of him, but she doesn’t have a lot of money, living on her own and on Social Security. Recently she spent most of her money on getting Chippy to the vet, and on some medication. He has been having trouble with the pooping, and there has been some blood.

You can see in the estimate below that doctor wants to do an x-ray and some more testing, and get Chippy on some other medications. Shelly just does not have the money for that.
