About the Campaign
Charlie was rescued from the East Valley Animal Shelter
When the owners surrendered, Charlie, she was in bad shape. There was a noticeable issue with her spine. Charlie wasn’t able to walk, she was mostly crawling everywhere. There was little information given about Charlie but the vet estimated her age at 11 years old.
Suzanne saved Charlie’s life and took in this beautiful rescue.
November 20th Vet Visit
Suzanne’s vet did a full body and blood work exam on Charlie. Charlie, has a low grade heart murmur, she was emaciated, has bulging disc impeding on her spine, horrible UTI and possibly GI, liver and kidney problems. Currently, Suzanne is expressing Charlie and having to watch over her almost 24/7.
Two vets told Suzanne that Charlie wouldn’t be able to walk ever again. Well Charlie isn’t healed but he is able to do some walking.
Suzanne has been working with Charlie to make her stronger. Charlie is able to stand for longer periods of time and able to walk further and further each day.
Charlie has extreme diarrhea and urinary tract infection (UTI). Suzanne is trying to get that under control so Charlie will be able to see a specialist. It has been over 5 weeks and the diarrhea and blood in the urine isn’t getting better.
After seeing many specialist Charlie is on medicine that is helping with her UTI's, diarrhea and vomiting. Charlie's vet let Suzanne keep the bill open.
Here is the outstanding bill for Charlie:
