About the Campaign
Vickie, a disabled woman, has a special bond with her beloved feline companion, Cali. The two have been through a lot together, with Vickie rescuing Cali as a feral cat and slowly rehabilitating her to be an indoor cat.
Cali recently stopped eating and was taken to the vet early in January, where it was discovered she had a severe dental issue. With only three fangs left, two of which are loose and in dire need of extraction, the veterinary bill of $1500 is proving to be a financial burden for Vickie, who is living on a disability income. Cali’s condition is rapidly deteriorating as she is losing weight, and the vet has advised removing food and switching to a wet food diet.
Cali needs surgery soon, though a senior kitty the doctor says she can have the surgery and is expected to do well!
It’s about $500 for the work up, and then another $1000 for the surgery. All donations are only for Cali, and paid to the veterinarian when the procedure is performed.

Cali is beautiful and needs to get well and stay with her Mommy. I have lost kitties over 74 years but I can’t imagine losing one at this age.
