About the Campaign
Buddy an advocate for animals
Buddy is an eight year old Terrier, who has been an advocate for injured, neglected, or abused animals. When he was only a puppy he was attacked by another dog causing spinal damage and leaving Buddy with only 50% mobility.
Buddy has always given back to animals who need his help. For example, Buddy helped the San Bernardino City Shelter raise hundreds of dollars to air condition the kitten/ cat room. For more see Buddy’s Facebook page.
Buddy now has no mobility
Buddy has been diagnosed with a herniated disk which impinges on his spinal cord causing him to lose all mobility. The herniation was confirmed by an MRI on August 2.
Buddy is in need of a surgery costing $4,800 which will allow him to regain virtually all of the mobility he had. Total medical cost, including MRI and surgery, is $8,600. Through Paypal and Gofundme he has raised $5,600, leaving an outstanding balance of $3,000.
We are so close to getting Buddy the surgery he needs. After all the work Buddy has done it’s time to return the favor and donate to Buddy.
Buddy’s surgery is scheduled for Friday, August 10th.
