Bruno Needs
Urgent Ear Surgery
Bruno, a sweet and spirited 5-year-old Doberman/Weimaraner mix, has been Sarra’s loyal companion since she rescued him as a puppy. As the runt of his litter, Bruno stood out with his tiny frame and big personality. Sarra couldn’t let him or his siblings end up at a shelter, so she stepped in to give him a loving home.
Recently, Bruno developed an ear infection that led to an unfortunate complication. While Sarra was away for the weekend, Bruno shook his head so vigorously that he burst a blood vessel in his ear. Now, he needs surgery to drain the hematoma and relieve his discomfort. Aural hematoma’s are VERY painful to dogs, and they will scratch and tear at them endlessly. Sarra has already purchased medication for his ears but simply cannot afford the cost of surgery. A full explanation of this condition and it’s treatment is HERE.
This isn’t the first medical challenge Sarra has faced for Bruno. Last year, he underwent bladder stone surgery that cost $3,600. While Sarra managed to cover it, the expense left her in a difficult financial position that she is just now recovering from. Unfortunately, her seasonal warehouse job ended recently, leaving her without the funds for this unexpected emergency.
Bruno’s prognosis is excellent if he gets the care he needs. Your donation can help cover the cost of his hematoma surgery and ensure he’s back to his playful, loving self soon. All donations will be paid directly to the veterinarian. Estimate below, click to enlarge:
