Bum Knee!

Brody, Angela’s best buddy for the past 10 years, has been there through thick and thin since he was a little 10-week-old fluffball. Brody came into Angela’s life through “Labs and More,” and they’ve been inseparable ever since—traveling, hiking, and just being each other’s best friend. Up until now, Brody has been as healthy as a horse… well, a very happy Labrador. But two weeks ago, their beach trip ended in a way nobody expected.

Brody was having the time of his life running in the sand when he suddenly took a spill. Angela heard a yelp, and right away she knew something wasn’t right. Her usually spirited boy was limping, and after an emergency vet trip and some X-rays, they got the tough news: Brody had torn his ACL and meniscus in his left leg and partially torn the other one too. The vet has Brody on pain meds and anti-inflammatories, but surgery is the only way for him to walk without pain.

Angela already spent $1,000 on diagnostics, and with her sales commissions being down this year—and a surprise HOA hike—she’s struggling to cover the $4,100 needed for Brody’s surgery. It’s tentatively set for the 18th, but Brody might have to wait unless we can rally some support to help him out.

Brody is more than just a dog to Angela; he’s her partner-in-adventure. And he deserves to run, jump, and play again without a second thought. Any support you can give to help Brody get this surgery will make a world of difference for both him and Angela. Click the estimate to enlarge:
