About the Campaign

Bob gotta a bad knee!

Actually Bob has two bad knees, but he already had surgery on left knee a few years ago and has recovered great! At the time the doctor said Bob would need surgery on the right knee as well, and the time has come.

He has been walking with a limp for a while now, though his owner Janell has him on supplements, and has started the pain reliever Rimadil also. But it is clearly painful and Bob is starting to walk less and behave like he is tired, but he isn’t. It just hurts to stand and walk.

Bob is a rescue dog, he was dumped in a backyard when someone moved. When found an x-ray showed he had a rock in his stomach! Sometimes dogs that are starving will eat things like rocks. Janell had to pay for surgery for him then, but she got it covered.

Bob has a security blankie

He’ll share a bed, but not his blankie!

Recently though, Janell had hip replacement surgery herself and has been recovering (she is 68). Though she is still working as a Special Education Teacher, money is tight and she cannot afford the whole cost of Bob’s surgery. She did get some Care Credit approved and will be able to get about 1/2 but Bob needs the rest to get his surgery done!

All donations are only for Bob, for his knee, and we pay all the donations directly to the veterinarian. Vet estimate below, click image to enlarge:
