About the Campaign
Tumor on his paw
and gum infection.
Blue is a good boy with bad gums! What happened is about a month ago his mom, Cynthia, noticed he was licking one paw a lot. She took him into the vet, and the doctor noticed a small tumor on the pad of the paw, and he did not like the way the tumor looked.
Cynthia got a full blood test and exam for Blue, and the doctor also noticed Blue had the beginnings of a gum infection (gingivitis) and needed an anesthetic cleaning of his teeth (a thorough cleaning, where the dog is under with anesthesia). The recommendation: remove the tumor and clean the teeth at the same time, then the tumor can be sent for a biopsy to see if it is cancerous.
Cynthia works painting houses in Florida. With the COVID pandemic and slowdown in the economy she has not had work in a while, though she has been doing some temporary jobs, one of which she got to help pay for Blue’s blood work and exam, which costs nearly $300. She does not have the money for the surgery Blue needs, and this kind of tumor removal is best done as soon as the tumor is found, delays just increase the risk.
As always with Free Animal Doctor, all donations are held by us and only paid to the veterinarian when the procedure is performed! Donations are specifically for Blue, and never paid to the owner, only the vet. Can you donate to help Blue today?
