About the Campaign

Blind, older, stray.

This poor guy was in the street, blind!

A nice woman saw him and turned around and got him safe. She took him home, and gave him a gentle bath. Though his eyes look ok, he seems to be blind as he would walk into walls, and would circle.

Her dogs did not like him, and she was not able to keep him. Not wanting to put him in the animal shelter due to his age and condition she reached out to rescues but it was urgent.

Finder’s son Josep with him:

We knew he would need a vet, so the Free Animal Doctor Rescue Project took him in right away. He got in to the vet same day, November 16th.

He has no microchip and is not neutered, probably no one is looking for him, we bet he was dumped. His teeth are really bad, some rotted. And he has an infection in both ears!

We are getting this poor guy a full blood test to check for any issues, getting his ears treated, and putting him on anti-worm and flea medication right away. Later he will need dental work, and we may need to check out those eyes…. we actually think he may have some vision.

All donations go to help him, and are greatly appreciated! We can’t leave senior dogs in horrible condition on the street, but we can’t treat them without your help too!! Please consider a donation, and give us a name suggestion in the comment when donating 🙂

Thank you, Faith, for going above and beyond to protect our fellow creatures, who deserve the love they so often, sadly, fail to receive.

Charlie was my Dad’s name, so I’m going with that.

Breaks my heart when I come up against human cruelty – dumping this guy is definitely human cruelty – sometimes I really don’t like so-called “humans” very much!

Thank you Faith for rescuing this precious boy and getting him the medical care he needs. Ear aches are so painful 😣
