About the Campaign
Coco has a tumor, and it
has suddenly grown big!
She was rescued after her owner, a homeless man, passed away. A volunteer for Bailey’s Way Rescue, a non-profit rescue in Florida, also worked at the homeless shelter, and she got the rescue to take Coco in, and fostered Coco herself.
When Coco first came in to the rescue she had a small lump on her leg, but the doctor said it was nothing to worry about then. Coco had a number of health issues to address at the time, and this did not appear serious. The doctor just said to keep an eye on it.
Recently, the little lump has grown. Fast. A trip back to the vet confirmed, it’s probably cancer, and it has to be removed.
Bailey’s Way Rescue has just taken in a group of puppies all ill with Parvo, and was not expecting this sudden expense. They started a fundraiser on another fundraising site (click HERE), but it only raised about $300 and then stalled out. Coco needs more to get her tumor removed! All donations here are for Coco and will be paid to the rescue to get her the surgery she needs, and needs urgently. If you can help Coco, please consider a donation today, thank you 🙂
