About the Campaign
Bear has had a mass on his leg for a couple of years, but it came and went over time and was squishy, so Jennifer and her family just kept an eye on it. However, a few days ago, the mass started growing rapidly, began oozing, and looks bloody. Jennifer knew that something needed to be done.
Sorry, it’s ugly:
Jennifer and her family are struggling to make ends meet, and the cost of living has gone up, making it difficult to afford the necessary medical care for Bear. They have been through some tough times recently, including medical issues that have put a strain on their budget. She took Bear to the vet, and the estimate for surgery came back at $3000, which they just do not have.
Despite their financial difficulties, Jennifer is determined to do whatever it takes to help Bear. She has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for the surgery, but so far, she has not been able to raise any money. They have also tried to get approved for care credit but were denied.
Bear is otherwise healthy, and he’s still a happy pup, but the mass on his leg needs to go. He had a surgery scheduled for Friday, but that had to be canceled, and for now, Jennifer has put him in a cone and is keeping the mass wrapped while putting antibiotics on it.
Let’s come together to help Jennifer and Bear. All donations are just for Bear, paid only to his vet. This tumor is nasty, and we are afraid it may “burst” and then get infected. He’s just six years old, and getting this fixed for Bear should mean many more good years for this good boy!
