You hear of emotional support animals, and maybe sometimes you do not take it that seriously. But Aurora truly is.

Aurora’s owner Nicole has serious health conditions, including a compromised immune system for which she gets monthly blood infusions. She is bed ridden, 24 hours a day, and must stay in a darkened room or get terrible headaches. For the photos her friend took she had to wear sunglasses just to tolerate the room lights.

But she did tolerate it for Aurora. To get pictures of her cat in need. Aurora is her source of constant companionship that Nicole has had she was a little kitten. Now Aurora urgently needs an echocardiogram and bloodwork, among other tests.

Nicole is on a fixed income from disability, and has a care giver. She receives meals on wheels, and subsidized housing. The bottom line, she cannot save up the money to get Aurora the treatment she needs. Yes, we want to see Aurora get the treatment she needs, but this is also helping a poor women suffering through a terrible condition keep some comfort and solace in her life. All donations are specifically for Aurora and paid only to her vet for her treatment. An estimate for the echocardiogram is below:
