Pain making this little guy aggressive,
getting him in trouble!
Also is about three years old. He was adopted and had been living with his family for a few years, but the adopter had a mental health crisis and is not capable of caring for him. Arlo then got bounced into a foster home through the local humane society, but that foster gave up on him! (Bad behavior).
Fortunately, Soul2Soul Rescue was contacted, and took him back right away. He came in with a limp. Went to the doctor right away, and sure enough: Arlo has a luxating patella. In other word, his knee is messed up and his knee cap is totally dislocated. It will not correct without surgery.
His other knee is also a bit weak, but he is a small dog and the doctor says he only needs surgery on the one leg. It is very bad, the kneecap is totally to the side, and it must hurt constantly. Arlo is aggressive with other dogs, and he is snippy. The rescue is quite experienced, and quite sure this is due to the chronic pain he is in.
Surgery will fix up his knee for life, and the rescue has gotten a very reasonable price on the procedure as well, we often see these knee surgeries priced over $5000. All donations are paid to the vet, and only for Arlo’s surgery. Estimate below, please click to enlarge:

He is adorable! I would be crabby too if my knee hurt like that. He looks exactly like my dog Jack exactly except my Jack loves animals but he hates people because when I rescued him, he was severely abused by humans. Have a good life, little boy.!❤️

No animal should be suffering from something that can be “FIXED” with enough money.. I dont think if one fosters they should give up on the foster… its like adoption you dont turn you back on what you took to help or add to your family! I hope this little one gets the help he needs to become a happy loving family member… there is hope for each one no matter what the problem is medical or physical!
