About the Campaign

Angel has a paw tumor and a tumor on her leg!

She is a service dog.

Her owner Mary is legally blind.

Mary can see partially, but has trouble with depth perception and is prone to falling. Angel helps prevent falling, and is also an emotional comfort to Mary.

Angel has had official training to help prevent falls, and is a “real” service dog that Mary has spent over $2000.00 training and certifying. But Mary is on SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) and SSDI pays just enough to cover the basic bills every month. Mary has a little money saved, but it would take her over a year of saving to get close the amount Angel needs for surgery.

The procedures are not complicated and the doctor is offering a very good price. Angel needs two, unrelated, tumors removed. The one on the paw may require more work, but will hopefully go easily. Due to Angel’s age, blood-work is also needed.

Overall it is a very reasonably priced surgery that helps Angel and Mary! Keeping Angel working and healthy is a much better investment for everyone than training another dog for Mary’s condition, and of course such a good and useful dog deserves to live a happy and pain free life!

Can you help both Angel and Mary with a donation? All donations are held by us, Free Animal Doctor, and will only be paid to the vet (El Camino Vet Hospital) on completion of the surgery. We never pay money to the owner, always to the vet when the procedure is completed! So you can donate in confidence! Thank you!!!

We collect the payment for the animals and pay the vet the amount raised. Some vet offices don’t have the capacity to take multiple payments for an animal. You could contact the vet yourself and see if they would accept the payment.
