About the Campaign

Huge lump on her neck!

Alaska is a young girl, only 5 years-old. He owner Elizaveta got her from the animal shelter as a puppy, a companion for her other dog Bob, and the two are now inseparable.

About two months ago Alaska developed a bump on her neck. It didn’t seem like much at the time, but she went to the vet and the doctor recommended seeing a cancer doctor, and oncologist. An appointment was made, and in the meantime the bump seemed to get bigger!

Checking Alaska more carefully other bumps showed up on her tummy, and another on the neck:

The oncologist confirmed, it was cancer, and recommended the CHOP protocol, a series of chemotherapy treatments. You can read about CHOP here. Alaska’s treatment will be 16 visits in total, each costing about $400-700.

Elizaveta has already spent over $1000 getting Alaska diagnosed, and will be able to get about $5000 from credit and a small savings, but she has no other funding available. CHOP can be very effective, but the bad news is you must do the whole series of treatments. The good news is we have time to raise the money Alaska needs! The doctor will allow paying treatment-by-treatment, so Alaska can start now, but we need to get donations in as soon as possible. If you would like to help Alaska fight back against cancer, please consider a donation today. All donations are held by us and only paid to the vet specifically for Alaska’s treatment!

Estimate for one session, the doctor prescribes 16 sessions total (click to enlarge):

I am praying for you, my little Yorky Vinny went through the CHOP protocol last year for his lymphoma and it was successful. He went into remission, unfortunately, six months later, he died from his collapsed trachea. I wish you the best hang in there little one!❤️

Your babies story needs to get shared more. I am giving up some things this month to help your dog. As I said my Vinny did the CHOP protocol and it saved his life. To sad money always has to stand in the way of care. Praying hard he gets this treatment.

Just another update, Alaska is feeling much better!!! She’s gotten her second dose of chemo, and we’re getting her blood checked tomorrow to make sure she’s ok to continue with the treatment. I’ll keep everyone posted. We are still using funds from the donations (THANK YOU!) but funds are depleting quickly (each visit is usually around $500). Please keep sharing and spreading the word ♥️ thank you so much! God bless.

Hi everyone, Alaska’s original chemo isn’t working as intended. We are switching to
L’asparaginase. We need support now more than ever, as we only have enough donations left for one treatment. Thank you so so much to everyone who has donated so far, please share and spread the word!!

Alaska had to switch chemos because the first ones weren’t working as well, she’s on Lomustine now, just had her first dose out of 5 yesterday. She’s doing great so far, we are treasuring this time with her. She sends a huge thank you and lots of tail wags 💖🥰
